“I am delighted to be volunteering with WAY as an Ambassador as I would love to help raise awareness for the charity. The support I have gotten since my own bereavement has made me want to give back and support the aims of WAY. The charity is providing a vital service at an often heartbreaking time for young widowed people. Raising awareness of the support available and shining a spotlight on the great work the charity does is crucial.”

“I want to reach out to other diverse bereavement communities to share the work of WAY,” she added. “I am currently volunteering on WAY’s Cultural Diversity Working Group, helping the charity to ensure that it is as inclusive and welcoming as possible to all those needing support.”
