Bereavement Support from WAY Widowed and Young

WAY aims to provide peer-to-peer emotional and practical support to ALL young widowed people –married or not, with or without children, inclusive of sexual orientation, gender, race and religion.

Unfortunately, there’s no guide book for grief. Everyone is different, and no two people will experience grieving in the same way. From numbness to anger, from disbelief to guilt, there’s no set pattern to the grieving process, especially when you’ve been widowed at a young age.

The majority of the team that run WAY are also bereaved so we know what you are going through and are here to help.

We’d love you to join WAY and take advantage of the support we offer. However if you need to reflect a bit more beforehand please feel free to review these resources or to ask any questions you may have. Please contact us here if you would like to speak to one of the team.

When you join WAY you’ll have access to a community of other widowed people who understand what you are going through.

Wherever you are in your journey, WAY provides the kind of peer to peer support that can only be provided by engaging with folks like you, who get it. Peer to peer support brings empathy and understanding, people you can talk to that truly get what you’d going through and a group of like-minded people that are there for you every step of the way.

When you join WAY you’ll have access to the following benefits:

  • Access to a community of other widowed people who understand what you're going through.
  • A wide range of peer-to-peer support groups that are unique for many different types of loss, interests and spiritualities.
