WAY and its members have featured regularly in the media over the past few years. Articles have highlighted a whole range of issues affecting people who have been widowed at a young age – from finding love again to campaigning against proposed changes to the Widowed Parents’ Allowance.
As well as features appearing in The Guardian, Daily Mail and the Independent and national magazines including Prima, Woman, Take a Break and Good Housekeeping, WAY members have also appeared on both local and national radio and TV.
Our aim is to reach out to as many young widowed people as possible who may not have heard about WAY and who could benefit so much from the support WAY can offer.
