Adventure weekend in Wales

WAY Widowed and Young’s Membership and Finance Officer Tanya reports back on an action-packed weekend for WAY members in Wales…

WAY returned to the Pembrokeshire Coast for the second year in early May: it was an action-packed couple of days and members had the chance to enjoy the amazing countryside and do something completely different, while finding support and friendship.

Preseli Eco-Lodge was our base from which the group of 15 WAY members headed out coasteering and sea kayaking, and we took a walk along the gorgeous Pembrokeshire Coastal Path in glorious sunshine; with fantastic food to fuel our adventures, and a well-stocked bar with a roaring log burning fire, we were lucky that the weather held for us and we were even able to have a proper campfire on Saturday evening. 

The weekend was full of many laughs and some tears, but most of all support and understanding with a great group of WAY members.
