1-7 June is Volunteer's Week and we wanted to give a huge shout out to all our fantastic WAY volunteers!
WAY has a volunteering community of over 130 people, who are all widowed themselves so they understand what it's like to be widowed and young.
WAY is all about peer to peer support and helping each other through grief. Our WAY volunteers are the ultimate in peer to peer support - they are people who have experienced loss and are drawing on that loss to support other people.
A lot of our volunteers say they just want to give back to the charity that has given them so much. But we wanted to say a big thank you to them. Because without them it WAY really wouldn't be the charity it is today!
