Our NEW Members Hub is here!
September 2023
Our AGM was the perfect opportunity for Trustee Kate, who chairs the charity’s Website Working Group, to unveil plans for the new Members Hub, which has been launched this week.
Thank you to all our volunteers who've worked incredibly hard behind the scenes to make sure our new member platform is ready for you.
All current members should have received an email on Monday 26 Sept explaining the steps you need to take to access the new Members Hub. Please check your emails for details and follow the steps below:
- Login by clicking the Member Area button in the top right of our web pages
- You will need to reset your password when you login for the first time by clicking the 'Forgotten username or password' link
- Wait for your email and follow the instructions (if you do not receive this please check your junk)
Once you have logged in for the first time and confirmed you have read our policies, you'll be able to edit your new profile, add a picture, find events and join groups, as well as chat to other members.
All existing events and groups that were set up on the website previously will have been migrated over to the new hub.
*Please go into your profile after logging in to check your details are up to date - if your details are incorrect you may not see some of the groups that you are eligible to join.*
Private groups include: Widowed with Children, Widowed without children, Widowed and VERY young, LGBTQIA+ and Ethnic and Culturally diverse communities.
There are a few how-to guides on the new hub to help you navigate the new features and a team of friendly WAY staff and volunteers are also on hand if you have any issues or questions.
We also have a competition to win vouchers to spend in the WAY shop. It's really easy to enter - all you have to do is login to the Members Hub and RSVP 'Yes' to our special event 'Welcome to the new Members Hub'.
Be sure to take a look around at all the new and updated features of the hub and don’t forget to take a peek at our public facing web pages too!
We've made changes to our menu navigation to make it easier for you to find support and information, updated our shop pages to display your favourite products and split our news into categories and tagged them so you can find the content that interests you most.
There is still more to come to so keep checking back - we are looking forward to sharing more campaigns to support bereaved families, adding more specific resources around causes of death/member communities and additional information to help people pre-bereavement.
Your donations are always welcome.
