WAY Big Picnics celebrate friendship

Earlier this month we held WAY’s Big Picnic weekend – including 36 picnics across the UK, from Scotland to the Isle of Wight and from Swansea to Norwich and Northern Ireland.

More than 800 members, friends, family and supporters joined in the fun – and the weather was mostly kind (although our Highlands and Islands picnickers sadly got drenched - see pic, bottom right).

WAY’s CEO Rebecca Cooper said: “The Big Picnic is a fantastic opportunity to experience what WAY is all about. It’s great to know that WAY members, friends, family, supporters, dogs and even swans across the UK were coming together and having a thoroughly great time, no matter what the weather had in store.”
