More than 85 WAY members and their children recently enjoyed a fun-packed weekend at Comrie Croft in Scotland.
A great time was had by all attendees with a full and varied programme of activities - from a BBQ on Friday evening, provided by WAY, to outdoor activities at Action Glen ranging from laser combat to treetop adventures on Saturday. Some of our more adventurous attendees also explored some off-road bike trails!
A crafting afternoon for kids provided an opportunity for the second Great WAY Bake Off for young attendees! While the Saturday evening allowed the group to come together for a lovely buffet, again, provided by WAY, followed by a quiz that taxed the adults more than the children! Saturday night provided some time to just sit and chill, chat and partake in some wine sampling while the kids burnt off the excess energy.
Sunday morning came around all too quickly and allowed time for final catch ups for both adults and children before having lunch and heading for home after what again has been a very successful Scottish Weekend.
WAY is planning to organise a similar event for up to 80 WAY members and children in Derbyshire in June 2016.
