Donate

Please consider making a donation to help WAY continue our invaluable work.

WAY relies on fundraising and generous donations to help pay for vital services for our members – including our website and our 24-hour telephone service.

With your help, we can do so much more for our members and raise our profile too, so that more people who are widowed young can find out about our peer to peer support network.

You can find out how your money may be used here.

And don't forget... if you're a UK taxpayer your donation will be eligible for Gift Aid. For a basic-rate taxpayer, this adds 25% to the value of your donation at no extra cost to you.

If you would prefer to post your donation to us, just send us a cheque made payable to "WAY Widowed and Young" and post it to us at our registered address:

WAY Widowed and Young, Advantage House, Stowe Court, Stowe Street, Lichfield, WS13 6AQ

Please do not send cash via the post - please donate by sending cheques, doing a bank transfer, using the button JustGiving link above. If you receive cash as part of your fundraising efforts, please bank the money into your own account and then send it to us by one of the other methods.

WAY are always grateful for any donation however large or small.  Everything we receive is put to good use to keep our services up to date for our members.

Here are some examples of our costs:

  • £5 pays for a member to have an account on the WAY Members Hub
  • £10 pays for a member to have access to our helpline for a year
  • £30 pays for one year’s funded membership to WAY
  • £40 pays to train a WAY volunteer to provide support to members
  • £100 pays for one member to access a funded place on a WAY weekend away
