There's no experience required for this one! Take part in the Dragon Boat Race...

This annual Rotary event is a great family day out at Kingston upon Thames Riverside and offers a fun chance to try out some dragon boat racing.
Children and families are welcome at the event but you must arrange childcare whilst you're in the boat.
It's a really good day with a carnival atmosphere.

What's it all about?
Two teams of intrepid WAY members – joined by another team of enthusiastic supporters from the law firm Irwin Mitchell – went head to head at the Kingston Upon Thames Dragon Boat Race in 2023 to help support young widows and widowers across the UK.
Imagine swan masks and Elvis wigs clashing with Hawaiian shirts and pirate costumes, all set to the infectious beats of the Hawaii 5-0 theme tune, booming from the banks of the River Thames!
