Meet Kathryn Evans, Partner
Kathryn has been a family lawyer since 2010. She has been a partner at Cambridge Family Law Practice since 2022. Before then, she gained experience at a regional and a national law firm, including time working in Leeds and London. Her practice covers the financial aspects of family breakdown, nuptial agreements and disputes regarding arrangements for children.
“I came across WAY through a former colleague who had worked alongside the organisation for a number of years, and who had relayed to me the hugely positive impact that WAY can have on those individuals – and their families – who had experienced the loss of a partner at a younger age,” said Kathryn. “Having been involved in a number of cases over the years that have precipitated from such a loss (including advising widows and widowers in respect of nuptial agreements if they marry again; and disagreements between grandparents and a surviving parent about contact between the child and wider family members), I was keen to share my firm’s expertise with WAY’s members.”
