Volunteer Surveys have been conducted annually since the Volunteer Manager position has been created.
This gives volunteers the chance to have their say, share their experiences and help to shape the future of volunteering with WAY.
WAY recognises the excellent work that volunteers do to support the charity and its members and in return hopes to make volunteering with WAY a positive experience for all.

Volunteer Survey 2026
The 2026 Volunteer Survey received 39 responses from 180 volunteers which were very positive and included constructive comments, particularly around ideas for future volunteering opportunities and supporting volunteers..
The average time spent volunteering by respondents was 1.5 hours a week and 68% of people who took part in the survey have now been volunteering for WAY for over a year!
