Membership Payment Terms & Your Right to Cancel

Your Membership Peace of Mind

At WAY Widowed and Young, we are deeply grateful for your decision to join our community. Your support is vital in providing care for those navigating loss. To ensure our relationship is built on transparency, we have outlined our membership terms below in accordance with the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024.

Membership Payment Terms

  • Annual Subscription: Membership is £30 per year.
  • Monthly Equivalent: For your transparency, this equates to just £2.50 per month.
  • Automatic Renewal: To ensure your support continues without interruption, your membership will auto-renew annually on the anniversary of your joining date. Payment will be taken automatically unless you choose to end the subscription.

Your Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

We want you to feel completely comfortable with your commitment. Under the DMCCA, you have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period:

  • Initial Sign-Up: You have 14 days from the day after you join to change your mind. If you cancel within this window, you will receive a full refund.
  • Annual Renewals: Each time your membership renews for another year, a new 14-day cooling-off period begins. You can cancel within 14 days of any renewal date for a full refund of that year's fee.

Minimum Commitment & Termination

  • Minimum Commitment: If you choose to cancel your membership outside of the initial or renewal 14-day cooling-off periods, the total minimum amount liable for that membership year is £30.
  • How to End Your Membership: You can bring your contract to an end at any time. To prevent your next auto-renewal, please notify us at least 5 working days before your renewal date.
  • Simple Termination Process: You can cancel by:
    1. Logging into your Member Dashboard and selecting "End Membership."
