Safeguarding and WAY 2025

This video is a recording of an online session delivered to WAY Volunteers in October 2025
(you may wish to have a pencil and paper handy for some of the activities)

The link below (this will be shared with you)  takes you to a certified course via the NHS which is FREE– just set up an account to register – Levels 1 (15-30 minutes) and 2 (about an hour)  are free to access and provides you with a certificate of completion when you achieve a score of 80% or more (you have multiple opportunities to reach that score) 

All Volunteers are now asked to complete Level 1 as a minimum - a copy of the certificate(s) you gain should be sent to Veronica.currie@widowedandyoung.org.uk as evidence of completing this minimum requirement.
