Winter Walk

Looking for a way to brush off the Christmas and New Year cobwebs? Or just some motivation to kick start a new healthy regime? Take on the Winter Walk Ultra Challenge on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 January 2025!
The event starts and finishes as The Oval Cricket Ground and passes some iconic landmarks along the Thames and its historic bridges in the capital. There is a Marathon, Half marathon and 10k walking option available!

London 2 Brighton

Take on the ‘original Ultra Challenge’ – London 2 Brighton on 24 and 25 May 2025
Challenge yourself to the Capital to Coast route. Richmond-Upon-Thames is the start, and it’s over the North Downs with wonderful Surrey & Sussex countryside to half way at Turners Hill. The full 100 km route heads over the South Downs before the welcome sight of the Brighton coastline comes in to view.
Peak District Ultra

The Peak District Ultra Challenge will welcome 2000 adventurers into the picturesque Peak District National Park on 28 and 29 June 2025.
The full 100km Challenge takes in a varied figure of 8 route through Derbyshire with wonderful views. The 50km, 25km & 10 mile distance options pass by Chatsworth House – there’s a Peaks challenge for all!
Summer Walk

Get active & explore some of the Capital’s historic areas with a tour of the ‘gateway to London’ along the Thames’s eastern section. The Summer Walk Ultra Challenge event takes place on 2 August 2025
The route is steeped in history with iconic sights...
You'll be able to celebrate at the end with a BBQ, bar and music!
South Coast Ultra

Whether you run, walk or jog, join us on 6 and 7 Sept 2025 to take on the South Coast Ultra Challenge.
South Downs National Park provides the perfect backdrop (making for some brilliant fundraising photos!) with the route taking you up Beachy head, over the Seven Sisters and along the famous South Downs Way National Trail through Brighton and on to Arundel.
Thames Path Ultra

Looking for an event where you can also do a spot of sight seeing? Look no further! Take part in the Thames Path Ultra Challenge on 13 and 14 Sept 2025.
Famous and ever popular, the Thames Path Ultra Challenge provides a fab route along England's greatest river. The route heads upstream to Henley along the famous Towpath, passing through Richmond, Hampton Court, Runnymede and Windsor with a wonderful riverside finish line.
Chiltern 50 Ultra

Whether this is your first Ultra Challenge or you're a seasoned pro, the Chiltern Challenge is not to be missed on 27 Sept 2025.
You will start and finish at the Henley basecamp with a BBQ, bar and entertainment on the Saturday night to celebrate with a glass of fizzy t-shirt and a medal waiting for you as you pass the finish line.
Halloween Walk

Get your bravest team together of guys & ghouls or go it alone if you dare and meet up with other chilling challengers to take on the scary streets and historic haunts of London in the Halloween Walk Ultra Challenge.
With a start & finish at the Oval Dungeon, come dressed to distress to take part in a hair-raising hike around London. 25 October 2025

WAY Member Kass Boucher, along with several members of our sub-group WAYwocs kicked off our challenges for 2023 by taking part in the Winter Walk Ultra Challenge.
"We may be walking an unknown path into a future we hadn’t planned but, with the support of WAY, together we will, hopefully, find the strength to face whatever it holds."
