TCS London Marathon

The London Marathon first took place in 1981 and has become one of the most popular marathons in the world taking place in April each year. The route takes in many of London's best landmarks including Buckingham Palace, The Cutty Sark, Tower Bridge and Canary Wharf.

The TCS London Marathon will take place on Sunday 21 April 2024.

The ballot for 2024 is now closed. The results of the ballot were emailed on 6 July 2023 so please check your inboxes. If you were one of the lucky people who were given a place, please consider raising money for WAY.

If you are looking for some inspiration, read about our incredible WAY supporter Matt who ran a gruelling seven marathons over seven days in memory of his brother-in-law Clax and to raise funds for WAY. That’s like running from London to Sheffield – a staggering 295,000 strides!
